In early 2014 Delta Airlines graciously donated a decommissioned CRJ-200. This aircraft had reached the end of its’ life and had timed out, but can still be a great training tool for our students. ARFF training utilizes this trainer to familiarize students with aircraft that are often times seen at non-hub airports and provide hands-on training. They are exposed to how the aircraft is designed which allows them to gain such knowledge as to where fuel sources will be, how to shut them off and power down the engines. It has been a great addition to our Training Center!
